Sunday was a special day. Because of breathing problems, I had been unable to attend Bible study and worship services the last two Sundays, but yesterday I was able to go to Sunday School and worship service. It was so good to be back with the class I lead and to be able to worship with my church family.
Christians are commanded to "Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord" (Ephesians 5:19 NIV) . Obviously we cannot do this solo. We cannot do this sitting at home watching a church service on TV. While that can be a blessing, each believer needs to be connected to other believers. We grow together, serve together and flesh out the Christian experience in relationship with other Christians. The theme of the study my church just finished was, "We are better together." I hope you are connected to a church family and a Bible study group.
